Io e la mia famiglia cercavamo l'alloggio in cui avremmo dovuto soggiornato, non trovandolo siamo entrati in questo bar a chiedere informazioni, il ragazzo ha preso il motorino e ci ha accompagnato, veramente gentilissimo...Siamo tornati a bere un caffè, la signora ci ha fatto accomodare sui tavolini all'esterno, ombreggiati, con vista mare e ci ha servito un buonissimo caffè frappè in bicchieri di vetro, con due bicchieri di acqua in omaggio, i nostri figli hanno preso il gelato...Cose di altri tempi! Se siete di passaggio fermatevi a bere qualcosa!

What a fantastic group of people who own and run this little hidden gem. The locals are extremely friendly and hospitable. Detective Yanni who i met at the cafe helped me to find my late mother's family, who were born in the area. If not for Sophia and Yanni's help, I don't think I would have met my greek family and my trip to greece may have been a sad time, but instead it was amazing to say the least, thanks to their help. I also met a truly wonderful local gentleman called Panayioti (John Wayne), who was like a long lost uncle to me. I'm so grateful and blessed to now call these wonderful people my family also. We may not share the same blood but we are family in our hearts. Coffee was always good and the freshly squeezed orange juice was so so delicious. I loved the view out to the ocean and the relaxed atmosphere was fantastic. I finally got to walk around this beautiful village Elika, where my mother was born. I cried all the way back to Australia when I left because I was leaving my new found family and beautiful friends. Thank you Sophia and Manolis for your warm hospitality, beautiful cafe and kindness. Thank you my beautiful friends Detective Yanni and my dear John Wayne, I love you both very much.
